First time tonight ordering Retro. We got haddock and retro fries, crispy chicken Caesar wrap and a retro burger with bacon and cheese plus an order of onion rings. Even through these hard times they seemed cheery when I picked up my food. Had an awesome chat with them and felt welcomed. The food was soooooooooooo good. I have not had food this good except out of my own kitchen. 100% will be going back and telling everyone to go here. You two run an awesome establishment.

Today was the first time that I had the privilege to stop by Retro and I am glad this was my stop! The fish was the best fish I had ever had and I am extremely particular with fish! It was fresh and so crispy! My tummy doesn’t hurt any eating here as well and that’s a huge bonus considering I am gluten free! I will definitely have to go back for them Retro fry’s for sure! I loved the atmosphere as it was calming and the owners are the most amazing people to talk to! I will have to go back for sure! This will become my new get away from my kiddos kinda break spot!

Hosted my son's 10th birthday party here and they all had a blast! We ordered a build your own party platter with chicken wings, fries, popcorn chicken, mozzarella sticks and onion rings, and the kids decided they were the best chicken wings ever! Retro is a very affordable party venue, with great food, great service, and lots of fun activities! Big thanks to Carmen for being so accommodating and making this the least stressful party I've thrown for my kids! 10/10, I highly recommend!

This place is amazing, I went for the fish amd chips and stayed for one of the most interactive relaxing paint nights ever. The owner and manager mingle with the patrons and share a laugh with each of us. I especially love the fact that they take the time to learn your name and use it. The events are super affordable and so much fun amd variety is awesome as well. The food is impeccable served fresh and home best fish in town I was so pleased with the whole experience I will definitely go back very soon. Keep up the great work!!!

They had 3 birthday parties going on and they made sure to check on us often and made us feel feel just as important and the birthday parties. Cringy events and overpriced games that win you no prizes, long wait times for food, I’d rather listen to Jeopardy music than sit in here and hear terrible karaoke. This place is cool but would be better suited in Edmonton, surprised it’s even still open in these times.

Response from the owner Our games cost .25, .50 cents and $1 to play they run on quarters and Loonies not sure where else you can spend $17.50 play over 20 games and last longer than an hour. Comedy show is $10 per person 2.5 hours of entertainment for less than the price of a movie. We allow Kids to sing Karaoke 7pm yo 10pm every Saturday A family friendly fun experience for all ages. And Great adult, date night ladies night spot after 10pm. We do Custom party planning, private bookings.. and weekly billiards tournaments. We also offer Dance Lessons for $5 per person every Thursday at 6:30pm You think our place is cool and are surprised we are still open yet only 1 star? Thanks for the input.

Worst place for service. Sat for 1 hour 45 minutes waiting for food. No one came to check on the table. Finally after 2 hours of waiting we walked out. Had to go the the bar more than once to see if our food was even ordered as all of the tables that came n after us were all served first. The first time we asked were assured after 45 minutes that it was put in. If there was a minus star rating I would have chosen it.

We were not expecting to be so busy on the holiday and are terribly short staffed. When you asked me about your order I went to the kitchen and was actually cooking it myself, when I came out to refill your drinks and prepare the table you were gone. I apologize for the negative experience as we do take pride in our old fashioned service and try to give every customer a great experience. Would love an opportunity try try again, and change your opinion. There are no excuses, it was a holiday and we did not have enough staff. Thank you for this opportunity to apologize. PS.
